Introduction to Activity 1.1

Activity 1.1 | Self-Reflection on the Discourse of Care

In this activity, you will draw on your own experiences and participate in the following ways:

  • Self-Reflection: Respond to prompts that invite you to explore your personal experiences and perceptions of "care."
  • Creative Expression: Share your reflections in a format that resonates with you, such as writing, drawing, audio, video, photo collage, a short poem or story, or another medium you choose.
  • Link to Future Activities: Revisit and expand on these reflections in Activity 1.2, fostering deeper learning and understanding.

This activity is designed to be completed in approximately one hour (1 hour)

Description

You will encounter four reflective prompts, presented on separate pages throughout this activity, each designed to guide your thinking and inspire a deeper exploration of your experiences.

As you work through these prompts, consider expressing your reflections naturally and meaningfully, whether through writing, drawing, recording an audio or video journal, creating a photo collage, or crafting a short poem or story. Be sure to save what you create, as these reflections will form an essential foundation for revisiting and expanding your ideas in Activity 1.2.
