Listening, Leading, and Letting Go

The resources provided in this section, "Practices for Grounding," invite reflection on how we might ground ourselves in practices that support healing, resilience, and ethical leadership. 

Trauma-informed practices

In a 2023 podcast, On Purpose host Jay Shetty interviews Dr. Gabor Maté about the impacts of trauma. 

As a childcare manager and leader, having identified systemic inequities, we also need to understand the impacts of those inequities, including trauma.

While we cannot ascertain that a better future is guaranteed, we can commit to disrupting the thoughtlessness that upholds unethical systems and participate in a present world committed to reconnection, which leads us towards collective liberation.
