Establishing practices to manage your connections will help you stay on track with your search. The tool you choose is up to you; it could be an Outlook calendar, a Google Sheet, an Excel Spreadsheet, an online database, or a notebook.

This Search Tracking Excel Workbook is an example to get you started.  It has three separate tabs:

  • To-Do List tasks and progress
  • Contacts & Organizations you have identified and reached out to
  • Leads & Applications to roles you are pursuing or have applied for

You can add any additional tabs that you need.
