Add a Collaborate Ultra room
Blackboard Collaborate rooms can be added to your Moodle course. If you haven't yet heard of Blackboard Collaborate, it is a web-based tool that we can use for synchronous (at the same time) video conferencing sessions. You can use Collaborate sessions for office hours, for inviting guest speakers into your course at certain times, for welcome and closing sessions to open and close your course, and lots of other reasons. Collaborate is a product of the company called Blackboard and is a plug-in to Moodle. It's got a lot of functionality and in fact, we even have other CTET workshop offerings which teach you how to use it! (See a list of all our workshops on the Professional and Continuing Studies website for more details.)
