Why Exemplary Assignments?

Overview

The sample assignments in this site were selected by CTET instructional designers in collaboration with faculty to provide models of well-designed assignments. Each assignment was evaluated using this rubric created by CTET instructional designers.

Writing effective assignments can increase retention and enhance student success (Boye, 2017), therefore, CTET instructional designers are working alongside faculty members to design and create effective assignments that reflect and embody elements of the Learning, Teaching, and Research Model (LTRM).
