In Topic One, you delved into the intersection of systems thinking, ECE business and HR management, and what you believe "Quality" looks like as an ECE manager and leader. Arguably, the unique challenges, responsibilities and complexities of managing and leading within the ECE sector demand holistic perspectives in decision-making and practice.  

Topic One's activities afforded you the opportunity to consider the application of systems thinking skills and scenario planning as a method of addressing systemic challenges in the ECE sector.

Additionally, Topic One's activities supported you in exploring and considering the managerial skills required to support sustainable programming, such as (1) Classification, regulatory compliance and licensing, 2) Human Resource Management (HRM), and (3) Financial management. 

Finally, in Topic One, you explored the nuanced concept of "Quality" in the ECE and ECE context and gained insights into the correlation between quality management and leadership and supporting high-quality learning and working environments.
