Welcome  to  this  openly  accessible ECE  leadership  course  in  Moodle. This  screen  cast  provides  a  guided  tour, using  the  leadership  essentials  of governance  finance  and  HR  course  as  an  example. However,  the  navigation  principles that  will  be  shown  here  will apply  to  all  courses  within the  suite  of  OER  ECE  leadership. This  short  video  overview  will  help  you the  ECE  Leadership  Moodle  courses and  explore  the  Moodle  book  feature, which  is  used  throughout  the  entire  course  suite. Start  by  exploring  the  welcome and  introduction  section  of  the  course. This  is  the  landing  page. Here,  you're  going  to  find a  comprehensive  course  overview, which  will  include  the  course  learning  outcomes and  the  general  concepts that  will  be  covered  in  the  course. You  will  also  find  a  glossary of  key  terms  here  related  to the  concepts  and  the  topics  covered in  all  of  the  different  leadership  courses. You  should  then  proceed  to the  first  module  of  the  course. Just  by  clicking  on  the  first  module  of  the  course, you  can  see  it  opens  up  all  sorts  of  things  here. On  the  left,  there  are  also the  ability  for  you  to  click on  the  different  chapter  titles. It  should  be  noted  that  each  module should  be  completed  in  the  order  it's  presented. For  example,  complete  all  the  activities  in Module  one  before  you  move  on  to  Module  two. Each  module  will  contain  readings, resources,  various  activities, and  reflective  opportunities. To  access  a  module, you  simply  click  on  the  section  title. Most  of  the  course  content  is  provided  in  a  Moodle  book. You'll  know  that  it  is  considered  to  be a  Moodle  book  because  it  will  have  a  book  icon  beside  it. A  book  is  essentially  an  interactive  resource that  organizes  learning  materials  into  a  structured, easy  to  read  format  that,  again, you  can  identify  by  simply  looking  at this  book  icon  that's  beside  each  of  those  topics. To  open  a  Moodle  book, you're  just  going  to  simply  click  on  its  title. Once  inside  of  a  Moodle  book, you'll  notice  that  there  is a  little  blue  toggle  over here  on  the  right  hand  side,  which  is  called  a  block. If  you  click  on  that  little  blue  tile, it's  going  to  unravel an  entire  table  of  contents  that  you  will  see. Each  chapter  will  contain important  content  related  to the  topic  or  the  concept  being  presented. You  can  navigate  through these  different  chapters  by simply  clicking  previous  or  next, and  these  buttons  will  be  found  on both  the  top  and  the  bottom  of  each  of  these  chapters.
