Welcome to Module 3: L
In this final module, participants will explore the importance of having a shared vision, goals and philosophy of care. They will explore the role of policies and procedures that foster alignment within the team’s practices and cultivate a sense of shared ownership, belonging, and collaboration among staff, children and families.
The estimated time to complete Module Three based on content, activities, and assessments is ten hours (10 hours or 600 minutes)

After completing all activities and the reflective assessment within Module Three, participants will:
- Analyze and integrate the center’s philosophy and the Provincial Code of Ethics into daily practices, ensuring a cohesive approach to care and education that reflects the values and rights of children, families, and educators

- ACTIVITY 3.1 | Shared Vision, Goals and Philosophy - Consider how a shared vision, goals, and philosophy are a foundation for practice and decision-making, offering a clear framework for routines, curriculum development, and interactions with children and staff.
- ACTIVITY 3.2 | Policies and Procedures - Examine how to develop policies and procedures to ensure your centre is genuinely inclusive.
- ACTIVITY 3.3 | Writing Policies and Procedures - Revisit your vision, goals and philosophy as you consider how to use it to underpin your approach to writing policies and procedures.
