Wage Enhancement and Grants

The B.C. government created a wage enhancement program to build the workforce and retain qualified Early Childhood Educators. Where qualified ECEs working in eligible programs will receive an hourly top-up. In addition to this, ECE educators with certifications in Special Needs and Infant and Toddler Care can receive yearly grants through the Early Childhood Educator Specialized Certification Grant.
