Module One Activities and Assessments

The activities within Module One include:

  • ACTIVITY 1.1 | Arriving as we are: reflect on how teachings on interconnectedness, ancestral wisdom, and collective healing can inspire more holistic and inclusive leadership in early childhood education. 
  • ACTIVITY 1.2 | Intersectionality and privilege: Explore how bias and the neuroscience of privilege shape perception, and reflect on how increased awareness can support more compassionate and inclusive leadership in early learning settings.
  • ACTIVITY 1.3 | Where we stand: Explore the history of racism in British Columbia and consider your power and privilege to reject practices of care and learning that remain ignorant of ongoing injustice, inequity, and systemic racism.
