Description:
The fifth values-based micro-session focused on the Care and
Community-Based arc of the LTRM. The theme for the session was “Flexible & Supportive Teaching”. In the session, Dr. Sophia Palahicky, associate faculty in the School of Education & Technology (SET), shared her reflections on ways
she has lived the values of care and community in her teaching through a supportive and flexible approach. In particular, Sophia used Photovoice and Visual Values activities to allow participants to reflect on how they can apply flexible and supportive approaches in their teaching practice. A discussion and Q&A session followed the formal presentation.
